"Customer Made" - a new hot trend I was reading about in the newspaper the other day.

The term 'custom made'' has been long known to mean a product with customer choices.  Custom made can have a very wide range of meanings. For example, it could mean a customer chooses a special faux finish on 'custom made cabinetry'.  Or perhaps a variation in choice of lace creates a custom made wedding dress.

Now  they talk about 'customer made' as the hot new trend.  They are talking about what Connie's Corner has been doing since 1998!   Many of our customers invest time and concern over every photo placement in a photo memory quilt.  They are vitally interested in every scratch and water spot in a photo restoration project.  They are deeply involved in the layout of a photo collage for a photo purse.

OUR customers are trendy!  Have been all along!  How cool is that!

We do create many bereavement and special occasion photo quilts and purses.  Magical healing powers are first noticed in the very action of gathering the family to select photos for a bereavement memory quilt .  Photo purses have an amazing helpful and productive healing process. 

I can only attribute this to Connie's Corner's effort to grant your heart's desire.  There can be no doubt that this is not a factory. Sweat shop... yes.   Our orders are strictly limited to achievable production amounts.   I personally choose 7 photo purse customers a week and one photo quilt customer per week.  Admittedly some of my younger associates are more robust and not undergoing chemotherapy.

I've enjoyed communication with my customers who also cannot imagine how you could order a photo quilt or purse by simply attaching pictures, entering credit card and pressing the 'submit' button.  Wait 10 - 12 weeks for your order to be sweatshop factory manufactured in Shri-Lanka or other places far flung.  Should be simple.  To many it is... Others of us call it the Target/WalMart of photo memory quilts and purses.   Its ok if its your kinda thing.

How is Connie's Corner and it's customer made philosophy different from the factory made 'custom made' of our competitors?  Including many who are very high priced? Have you looked at www.tomisue.com lately?

I'll TELL ya how... according to the news paper... we are VERY trendy.  Prices are going UP.  KIDDING!!!  Well, not really.
